From December 2004, Terry Deane held the position of Project Manager in the Electronic Script Management Programme which I manage as Programme Manager in RM Plc. At the time of writing, he remains in the position and is expected to continue in the role until November 2005. Within this role, Terry has consistently demonstrated very strong project managements skills, successfully delivering complex projects on schedule and within costs, achieving excellent customer satisfaction.

Within the overall Programme, Terry has been in charge of several large projects totalling over £2M in 2005.In the role, he has had the responsibility of acting as the single point of contact with the customer, engaging directly with the Programme Director in the customer's organisation (UCLES) to report on progress and resolve issues. Terry has worked for O2 (and its predecessors BT Cellnet and Cellnet) for a period of 6 years, ending in January 2004. During this time Terry has worked in my team as a project manager on a variety of infrastructure projects but latterly has been entirely responsible for the network aspects of the O2 PrePay service. His role has required him to manage a variety of activities including supplier programmes, testing, installation and implementation activities.

Terry is a professional project manager, keen to make things happen and always happy to go the extra mile to ensure that the business meets its date. He has been very successful at this and has played his part in the overall success of the PrePay business in O2. He is tenacious and loyal and has served me very well.

Terry is now leaving O2 as a result of re-organisation and downsizing of the former O2 Products organisation and will be pursuing other opportunities.
